24th Annual Newport Beach Garden Tour Summer Party

The 24th Annual Newport Beach Garden Tour will continue into August. Culminating on August 29th, with the Summer Garden Party. If you have already purchased a ticket to the Newport Beach Garden Tour, then you have your ticket to the  Summer Garden Party. This will be an in-person event. There will be a raffle, silent auction, make-your-own bouquet bar, garden hat contest, cocktails and food.  If you purchase a ticket to the Summer Garden party, then you get full access to the Virtual Garden Tour videos. 2020 Newport Beach Art Exhibition

The 2020 Newport Beach Art Exhibition has a new date: September 26th, 2020. This will be the 56th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition. The Art Exhibition is being moved from June 20th, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Newport Beach Art Exhibition features an original artworks in many medium; watercolor, photography, mixed media, sculpture, pen and ink, oils and acrylics. The exhibition opens at 1pm and continues to 6pm in the Civic Center Community Room. The call for entries deadline is now September 1st, 2020. Fairy Tales Art Exhibit at Newport Beach Library

The Fairy Tales Art Exhibit is being displayed at the Newport Beach Central Library gallery. This is an exhibition of oil paintings by Lauren Mendelsohn-Bass. The Los Angeles born artist, she uses the nostalgia of vintage advertising and art from mass marketing; to depict the idea that “truth is fluid, ideas, issues, and events are routinely reframed to reinforce brand.” Her work has a film noir feel and German Expressionist roots.  This exhibit will be open through Friday, May 8th. Tunes at the Dunes

Newport Dunes Water Resort and Marina will be hosting Tunes at the Dunes.  On Saturday, April 4th, HIRIE and Cali Conscious will be performing. Last year this was a sold-out concert, so get your tickets ahead of time. The band harnesses “the power of accessible songcraft, social consciousness,” and musicality. Their music is about healing the mind, body and spirit. The band includes many instruments, such as: vocals, guitar, uke, saxophone, flute, accordion and percussion.
