The next installment of the Sherman Library and Garden Lunch and Lecture series will take place on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022. This month’s topic is Going Wild on the Urban Edge with speaker Mary Forgione, who is editor of the LA Times outdoors newsletter The Wild. In the LA metro area, you can hike in a forest or desert but you can also stroll through Wilshire Boulevard or go bird watching in the wetlands of South Central. Mary will discuss how we can expand our sense of nature, including right in our own backyards. Lunch will begin at 11:30am and the lecture will begin at noon. Tickets are $35 for members or $45 for non-members, lecture only is free for members and $5 for non-members.
